Notes from NZM

Hii all,

I went to NZM today. Some very very interesting observations at NZM are as follows.

SAW Chennai GR, Paschim with WAP1!!, Hirakund, Utkal, AK RAj, DDN AC SPl, Kerela exp and a few more.

Reached NZM at 13.25 for Hirakund. (Scheduled arr 14.15hrs)

13.30 hrs
A CNB WAP4 22539 passed from line no 2 towards NDLS.

13.35 hrs
Kota Jan Shatabdi led by a BRC 22702 WAP4 departed from pf 7. All coaches had reservation charts in them.
One extra conventional Chaircar was attached at the end but it was empty.

Mahakoshal Exp was at pf 5 without any power incharge.

Announcement of Mangla being 7 hrs late were made.

13.45 hrs.
22045 GZB WAP1 came out from the electric shed (beyond pf 7). It was to haul the Goa Exp.

13.50 hrs
Boxn rake led by JHS WAG5HB 24057 passed through line 2.

14.13 hrs
Sachkhand Exp towards Nanded passed from line no7 (3rd line between pf 3 and 4) at low speed.
Led by GZB WAP4 22534.
rake composition loco-GS-GS-GS-A1-AS1-AS2-AS3-PC-S1-S12-GS-GS-luggage.

14.30 hrs
GoA Exp was brought in at pf 7 by the same GZB WAP1 22045.

14.35 hrs
22280 WAP4E brought 9024 Janta Exp to Mumbai .
Rake loco-GS-GS-GS-GS-S1-S9-GS-GS-LUGGAGE VAN.

14.40 hrs
WDP3A 15508 TKD (pushpak) passed from line 2.
In pf1 11173 TKD WDM (cheeta) came in. (To take Utkal Exp to Hardwar).
From line 3, WDS4B 19156, WDS4D 19722, WDS4D 19643 passed from line 3 (towards TKD).

15.00 hrs
Goa Exp departed from pf 7

15.10 hrs
14717 Vatva WDG2 and 14650 from VSKP passed line no 2.

15.15 hrs
I went to pf 7 to have a look at the locos stabled inthe shed. Those I could spot were:
22863 BRC WAP4E
30004 GZB WAP5
22279 BRC WAP4E
XXXXX LGD WAP4(couldnt see the road number)
22313 LGD WAP4 (very strange looking one)

15.20 hrs
Chennai GR came in at pf 6 with 22214 LGD WAP4
Rake Loco-Power car- G1-G12-GC1-GC4-Power car. (couldnt spot the PC!!)

15.25 hrs
21358 BIA WAM4 was assigned to Mahakoshal Exp in pf 5.

15.30 hrs
8477 finally arrived at pf 2 with 21341 ET WAM4.
Rake loco-GS-GS-S10-S1-PC-AS1-A1-GS-GS.
Cheetah was attached to it and ET WAm4 went to the electric shed.
Only one loco was assigned.
I asked the loco pilto and he said one WDM2 can do a fine job for DDn bound trains.
Extra one is required for Kalka bound trains. And that too between Kalka and Chandigarh.
Utkal does 100 kmph from NZM to Hardwar.

15.40 hrs
AK RAj came in with 30208 WAP7. It was 17 coach train with one AS1 extra.
It was announced that AK RAJ to Mumbai will depart at 2200 hrs instead of 1655 hrs!!

15.50 hrs
Empty Shivganga rake passed from pf1 to NDLS.
led by 22314 WAP4
rake loco-GS-GS-GS-H1-A1-AS1-AS2-AS3-PC-S11-S1-GS-GS-GS-GS. (24 COACH)

15.55 hrs
Paschim Exp to ASR came in with 22020 GZB WAP1 at pf 3.
Rake loco-Gs-S7-S1-PC-AS3-AS2-AS1-A2-A1-H1-GS-GS-GS-GS-S10-S9-S8-AS4-GS.
(SECOND HALF IS BOUND FOR kALKA. Bifuraction at Ambala)

Simultaneously AC SPl Rajdhani from DDN came at pf1 led by 14010 WDM3A.
11 coaches

16.05 hrs
Kerela Exp (TO ndls) came in with Erode WAP4 22357.
Rake loco-G4-G3-AS(5-1)-A2-A1-S11-PC-S(10-1)-G2-G1. (23 COACHES)

16.10 hrs
Mahakoshal departs with BIa WAM4 incharge.

16.25 hrs
Hirakund finally came in at PF 3 WITH BIA WAM4-6P 21360.
RAKE GS-GS-GS-GS-S8-S1-A1-AS1-GS-GS-GS. (NO PC!!)

Gondwana Exp to Jabalpur/Bhusaval was bound to come at pf 3 (scheduled dep 15.25 but no sign of it till I left.)
It was announced that it is in the washing lines.

16.30 hrs
Bandra bound GR came in at pf 7. It was scheduled to depart at 16.55 hrs(not sure).

It was also announced in between that Mangla Exp is delayed by 7 hrs.

Also spotted 16636 WDM2B 15543 TKD (pushpak) in between.

Seems like floods have taken a heavy toll on all trains through CR.
